Michael Szalai

Michael Szalai is currently serving as a Robotics Field Engineer at ANYbotics since October 2023. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a C# Software Developer at ETH juniors, where responsibilities included designing, developing, and optimizing a photogrammetry application as well as maintaining backend services. Michael's experience at ETH Zürich encompassed positions as a Teaching Assistant for Analysis III and Computer Science, along with research as a Research Associate focused on Diamond Wire Sawing of Silicon Wafers. Additional internships included electromechanical development at MABI Robotic AG and pre-acceptance commissioning at Garaventa AG, along with a workshop internship at Imbach & Cie AG. Michael holds a Master's degree in Robotics, Systems and Control, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich. Education was completed with a Matura from Kantonsschule Willisau.
