Software Engineer at Anyscale

Balaji Veeramani has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in various companies. Starting in 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Learning Games Network, where they developed an educational game and built an interactive simulation. In 2019, they served as a Research Intern at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, conducting research on edge-cloud models and benchmarking deep neural networks. In 2020, they interned at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Software Engineer, optimizing model training and leading a project to redesign the serialization and deserialization API. In 2021, they joined Berkeley RISE Lab as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, maintaining a scalable NumPy implementation and automating software releases. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Anyscale, starting from November 2021.

Balaji Veeramani attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2016 to 2018, where they studied Mathematics. Balaji then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Statistics at the University of California, Berkeley from 2018 to 2022. In addition to their academic achievements, Balaji Veeramani obtained certifications as an AWS Certified Developer – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2021, and as a Unity Certified Programmer from Unity Technologies in May 2018.
