Martin Peniak

Martin Peniak is a seasoned professional in the field of innovation engineering, currently serving as a Senior Innovation Engineer at Oosto since October 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Innovation at Cortexica Vision Systems, where responsibilities encompassed exploring visual search applications through emerging technologies and leading rapid prototyping efforts. Martin also has a strong background in parallel computing, having rewritten image processing pipelines and implemented high-performance algorithms. Prior roles included a Lecturer in GPU programming at Plymouth University and a researcher at NVIDIA, focusing on advanced neural network performance on GPUs. Martin holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Robotics and a BSc with Honors and Distinction in Computing from the University of Plymouth, along with a course in Astronomy and Astrophysics from The University of Manchester.
