Caroline Richards

Caroline Richards is an experienced governance professional currently serving as the Company Secretary for Subsidiaries at ANZ since February 2022. Prior to this role, Caroline was the Chief Governance Officer at Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust from June 2015 to January 2022. Caroline's extensive career began at EDF Energy where various positions were held, including Deputy Company Secretary & GRC Manager and Governance Manager, spanning from September 2008 to June 2015. Earlier experience includes roles as a Business Executive at CIPD and Project Officer/Relationship Manager at the Australian Taxation Office. Caroline holds a Master's degree in Business Law from Southern Cross University and has completed the Chartered Secretary International Qualifying Scheme from The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland. Additionally, Caroline holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing and a Graduate Diploma in Arts from Monash University.
