Kumar Chandran

Kumar Chandran is an experienced professional with a robust background in compliance, process optimization, and project management, currently serving as the KYC Process and Ops Lead at ANZ since November 2018. Previous roles at ANZ include Compliance, Quality and Capability Lead, Strategic KYC Process and Capability Lead, KYC Process Owner, and Compliance Project Manager (AML/CTF). Kumar's expertise lies in enhancing compliance frameworks, managing KYC processes, and driving process improvements. Prior to ANZ, experience includes project management at Telstra Health and business analysis roles at ANZ and Health Net. Kumar also holds leadership experience as the Director of Dazzle Power Private Limited and has held technical positions at Fidelity Investments and Citigold. Kumar earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil from SRM Engineering College.
