Louise England

Louise England is a legal professional with extensive experience in financial crime and regulatory supervision. Currently serving as the Acting Head of Legal for Financial Crime at ANZ since January 2021, Louise advises on financial crime legal matters within the Financial Crime & Regulatory Supervision Legal team. Previously, Louise held the position of Senior Associate at King & Wood Mallesons from July 2012 to December 2020, where expertise was developed in commercial dispute resolution, particularly in insolvency and restructuring. Additional experience includes roles as Legal Counsel on secondment at National Australia Bank and as a Foreign Legal Consultant at King & Wood Mallesons' Beijing office. Early career experience includes serving as a Judge's Associate at the Supreme Court of South Australia and working as a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young. Louise holds a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne and multiple degrees from the University of Adelaide, along with professional qualifications from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and ARITA.
