Prabhakar Varadarajan

Prabhakar Varadarajan has extensive experience in the banking and financial services sector, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer for Institutional Operations at ANZ since November 2014. Prior to this role, Prabhakar held various senior leadership positions at HSBC from June 1991 to November 2014, including Head of Operational Risk Management for India and Senior Vice President overseeing the Programme Management Office for the RBS Integration. With a strong focus on operational risk management, trade operations, and strategic business development, Prabhakar has led large teams and complex projects throughout a notable career, which began with diverse roles in retail banking. Educational qualifications include a Cost Accountant degree from ICWAI and a B.Com (Hons) from Delhi University.
