Rico Zhang has a diverse background in technology and engineering, having held various positions in prominent companies. Starting their career as a Software Developer at IBM, they advanced to roles such as Software Engineer at Sporting News and Senior Software Engineer at StarRez. From 2011 to 2015, Rico took an entrepreneurial turn as the founder of TruePrice and later as an entrepreneur at Merz Studio. Currently, Rico serves as the Head of Engineering for Enterprise Contact Centre (AI) at ANZ, where they also hold positions such as Platform Engineering & SRE Lead and Engineering Chapter Lead. Rico earned a Bachelor of Technology from Monash University between 2001 and 2003.
