Jed Halfon

Jed Halfon currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer at Anza, having joined in December 2023. As a California Registered In-House Counsel, Jed is also admitted to practice in New York. Prior to Anza, Jed held several prominent positions including General Counsel at Solana Labs (2021-2023), Venture Partner at Republic Capital (2020-2022), and various roles at Republic from April 2018 to December 2020, including Head of Tokenization and Partner/Associate General Counsel. Earlier experience includes working as an Associate in Banking & Finance at Mayer Brown (2015-2018). Jed holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Masters of Arts in International Studies from The Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. Education also includes a B.A. in Philosophy and Middle East Studies from the University of Southern California and Arabic studies at The American University in Cairo, in addition to ongoing Middle East Studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
