Jimmy Kan

Jimmy Kan has over 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, specializing in non-volatile memory (NVM) technologies. Jimmy is currently a Partner at Anzu Partners, a venture capital firm that invests in early to mid-stage companies in the semiconductor and software sectors.

Previously, Jimmy was a Senior Hardware Engineer and Researcher at Qualcomm, where they worked on developing energy efficient STT-MRAM technologies for low-power MCU, IoT devices, and sensors. Jimmy has also held positions at Niron Magnetics, Inc., Liquid Instruments, Aspinity, Inc., and South 8 Technologies.

Jimmy received their B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.

Jimmy Kan completed their Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from UC San Diego. Prior to that, they completed their B.S. and M.S. in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from UC San Diego.
