Ole-Christoffer Granmo has a long and varied work experience. Ole-Christoffer began their career in 1996 as a Programmer at Telenor. In 1999, they were a Scholar at the University of Oslo and also a Consultant at Granmo Consulting. In 2000, they co-founded Network Intelligence Systems and was the Chief of Research and Development. From 2011 to 2017, they were the Director and Deputy Director at the Centre for Integrated Emergency Management (CIEM). In 2012, they were a Senior Consultant for Advanced Analytics at Conduct AS. From 2014 to 2017, they were the Co-founder of Anzyz Technologies AS. Finally, from 2017 to present, they have been the Founding Director at the Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research (CAIR), UiA.
Ole-Christoffer Granmo obtained their Dr. scient. in Computer Science from the University of Oslo (UiO) between 1999 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained their Cand. scient. in Computer Science from the same university between 1993 and 1999.
