Leo de Souza

Leo de Souza has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the sports and coaching industry. Leo began their career as a Soccer Coach at Challenger Sports, working in summer camps across multiple states and training youth teams. Leo then joined YMCA of Metro Atlanta as a Professional Youth Soccer Coach. Leo also worked as a Sports and Exercise Scientist and Soccer Coach at Life Time - The Healthy Way of Life Company, where they managed fitness programs and provided coaching to clients. Leo later interned at Arowana Sports, where they contributed to new business development, market research, and proposal writing for sponsorships and partnerships. Leo then took on the role of Director of Coaching - Senior Player Development at Inter Atlanta FC, where they were responsible for player development. Concurrently, they worked as a Professional Youth Soccer Coach within the same organization. Leo's most recent roles include Executive Director / Player Consultant at Nexty Sports Management and Channel Partnership Manager at AODocs.

Leo de Souza received their Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Universidade Estadual de Montes Claros, where they studied Health and Physical Education/Fitness from 2006 to 2011. In 2018, they enrolled in The FBA - The Football Business Academy and completed a Professional Masters in Football Business in 2019. Leo de Souza has also obtained additional certifications, including a Director of Coaching Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches in February 2022 and a National C License from the U.S. Soccer Federation in January 2020.
