Ashley Shearer

Ashley Shearer, CPA, currently serves as VP Deputy Global Controller at Aon since June 2015, where responsibilities include leading SEC reporting, consolidations, technical accounting, governance, SOX compliance, financial instruments, benefits accounting, and controllership projects. Prior roles at Aon include Sr Director of Technical Accounting & Governance, Director of M&A Integration, and Sr Manager of Technical Accounting. Previous experience includes serving as Accounting Supervisor at Echo Global Logistics from 2012 to 2015 and as Audit Senior Associate at KPMG from 2009 to 2012, specializing in consumer and industrial markets. Ashley Shearer holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned in 2009 and 2008, respectively.
