Daniel Hartung

Daniel Hartung has extensive experience in the field of meteorology and risk analysis, currently serving as Managing Director at Aon since March 2012, where roles have included Director, Associate Director, Senior Analyst, and Catastrophe Risk Analyst. Prior to this, Daniel worked at the Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies at UW Madison as an Associate Research Meteorologist, contributing to the Satellite-based Nowcasting and Aviation Applications Program. Daniel also held the position of Research Intern at the same institute, focusing on data analysis and programming in FORTAN and MatLab for weather forecasting. Daniel's academic background includes a BS and MS in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with a Business, Environment and Social Responsibility Certificate, and experience as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant during studies.
