Lisa J. Stevens

EVP, Chief People Officer at Aon

Lisa Stevens is executive vice president and Aon’s Chief People Officer. In this role, she is responsible for aligning, equipping and empowering all 50,000 global colleagues to embrace the firm’s Aon United mission.

In this role, Stevens leverages her passion for people with her proven ability to deliver business results as she leads the human capital team, including the global culture, talent, rewards and diversity, equity & inclusion strategies. As a key member of the executive team, she also plays a critical role in overseeing the coaching and executive talent development and succession planning strategies for the firm. Ultimately, her objective is for colleagues around the world to be inspired by Aon’s mission, committed to develop professionally and energized to work as a unified global team to build and be a part of a firm that consistently delivers great outcomes for clients and even greater impact in our communities.

Stevens is widely recognized for her integrity and leadership. Prior to joining Aon, Stevens served as Head of Western United States for Wells Fargo where she was responsible for 34,000 employees and 2,700 branches. She also has an extensive background in managing operating, market, reputation and credit risk and has managed a multi-billion-dollar profit-and-loss statement. She led the banking industry segment in small business lending during her tenure. Stevens also built strategy and launched FastFlex, the first product in traditional financial services that disrupted companies such as Lending Club, OnDeck and Cabbage. She has a long track record of building and launching solutions in the financial services segment.

Stevens earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Santa Clara University. She is also an active board member of several nonprofit organizations, including the Executive Committee of the California Roundtable, Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, Arizona State University’s Global Institute of Sustainability, Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and the Board of Regents for Santa Clara University.
