Youhong Lu

Youhong Lu is an experienced professional in audio signal processing and algorithms, currently serving as the Director of Algorithms at AONDevices, Inc. since April 2023, focusing on AI-based de-noising and blind source separation. Previously, as a Distinguished Audio Architect at GOODIX Technology INC., Youhong led the development of adaptive active noise control and other audio components, alongside extensive high-level algorithm research and implementation in various programming environments. Additional roles include Principal Engineer at Plantronics, Principal Audio Scientist at Verizon Labs, and Audio Algorithm Engineer at Microsoft, where Youhong contributed to significant advancements in audio processing, including echo cancellation and source localization. With a solid foundation in engineering marked by a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, Youhong's career spans notable positions at various organizations, developing advanced audio algorithms for embedded systems and telecommunications.
