Matthew Heid

Matthew Heid is currently the Campus Director at AoPS Academy, where they teach enrichment classes to advanced K-12 students and manage instructional staff. With a strong educational background, they hold a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Washington, a Master's in Education from UC Berkeley, and a Master's in Mathematics from San Francisco State University. Matthew has a rich history of supporting student learning, including roles as a Math Competition Proofer and Mathematics Tutor over a decade-long career. They also previously worked at UC Berkeley's Student Learning Center, helping undergraduate students in lower-division math courses. Outside of mathematics, Matthew enjoys trivia, playing bridge, baking cupcakes, and completing crossword puzzles.
