AP Advisory is a strategic advisory practice founded by Ash Playsted, built to serve successful business owners, founders, and growth-stage enterprises navigating complexity, transition, growth, succession, and capital decisions.

The firm’s philosophy is simple: meaningful wealth creation rarely occurs through isolated business decisions. The most successful outcomes emerge when business strategy, personal objectives, family priorities, capital allocation, governance, succession, and long-term legacy planning are aligned through a single strategic framework.

This is the AP Advisory Family Office Advisory model.

Unlike traditional consulting, transaction-led advisory, or fragmented professional services, AP Advisory provides integrated, principal-led strategic counsel grounded in real-world founder experience.

Ash Playsted has spent more than four decades operating, advising, building, scaling, and exiting businesses across the Australian mortgage, finance, lending, distribution, and advisory sectors. He brings a rare combination of operator credibility, board-level commercial judgment, capital markets understanding, succession planning expertise, and founder empathy.
