Ricardo Santos has a substantial background in hotel management and operations, currently serving as Hotel Manager for both AP Dona Aninhas Boutique Hotel and AP Oriental Hotel since November 2019. Prior to this role, extensive experience includes key positions at Pestana Hotel Group, where responsibilities encompassed operational support during the opening of Pestana Blue Alvor and management of various hotels, including Pestana Algarve Race Resort and Pestana Viking. Ricardo Santos has also contributed to the hospitality education sector as a trainer at the Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Algarve for several years, focusing on hotel management courses. Academic qualifications include a recent degree from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and training in hospitality management and restaurant operations from various prestigious institutions.

The AP Hotels & Resorts group was created in 2015 and belongs to MADRE TURISMO, owned by António Parente with the aim of being a reference in the Algarve hotel market, with the main objective of creating jobs and value in the region.
