Pia Bastrup

Pia Bastrup has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Pia has held various roles in different organizations, demonstrating their expertise in portfolio management, investment strategy, and due diligence. Pia has worked as a Chief Portfolio Manager at AP Pension since 2023. Before that, they served as the Chief Portfolio Strategist at PenSam from 2021 to 2023, where they developed and implemented investment strategies across alternative asset classes. Pia also worked at PFA from 2017 to 2021, first as the Head of US Real Estate and then as the Global Real Estate Portfolio Manager. At PFA, they successfully planned and executed investment strategies, negotiated agreements, and managed a portfolio of investments. Prior to joining PFA, Pia worked at The International Woodland Company as a Due Diligence Manager from 2015 to 2017, where they developed investment strategies and managed existing investments. Pia started their career at Eksport Kredit Fonden in 2005, where they held multiple positions, including Chief Underwriter and Senior Country Risk Analyst. Throughout their career, Pia has demonstrated their ability to evaluate potential investment opportunities, manage portfolios, negotiate deals, and assess risks in various sectors and countries.

Pia Bastrup completed their undergraduate education from 2000 to 2005 at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, where they obtained a degree in Political Science and Government (cand.scient.pol). Later, from 2013 to 2017, they pursued a Diploma in Leadership from DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Pia also holds additional certifications: in November 2016, they obtained the "Fundamentals of Alternative Investments" certification from the CAIA Association, and in June 2015, they acquired the "Project Management Professional (PMP)" certification from the Project Management Institute.
