Ben Shimmin

Ben Shimmin has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Ben is currently serving as the Head of Technology Services and Operations at APA Group since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Director at Mirai Consulting Pty Ltd from August 2018.

Earlier in their career, Ben held a Solution Architect position at AGL Energy from January 2020 until February 2021. Ben also worked at UniSuper as a Principal Technology Architect from October 2018 to October 2019, and as a Principal Cloud & Infrastructure Architect from October 2017 to October 2018.

Ben'searlier experiences include working as a Senior Consultant at VMware from November 2007 to December 2010, Consultant at Technical Architecture Solutions from 2007 to 2008, Virtualisation Consultant at Technical Architecture Solutions in 2007, Technology Team Manager at IAG from 2001 to 2007, and Desktop/Server Support Engineer at Bonlac Foods from 1999 to 2000.
