Katrina Gowans serves as the Group Counsel of Legal Operations at APA Group since October 2025. With an extensive background in legal operations, Katrina is also an Advisory Board member at the Centre for Legal Innovation since February 2020 and has co-chaired the Australian Chapter of CLOC from June 2021 to August 2025. Prior to her current role, Katrina held the position of Director of Legal Operations APAC at IFM Investors from June 2023 to May 2025 and was the National Legal Operations Lead and Senior Corporate Lawyer at Origin Energy from April 2014 to March 2023. Katrina's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Associate at King & Wood Mallesons from 2001 to March 2014. Katrina holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Law and Politics from Monash University.
