Lead Mechanical Engineer at APA Group

Nick Hallam has a diverse range of work experience in engineering and has worked in various roles in different companies. Nick started their career as an Undergraduate Water Engineer at LMB Aqua, where they contributed to refining pump selection systems and developed CAD and Process and Instrumentation diagrams. Nick then worked as a Rotating Machinery Engineering Vacation Student at Origin Energy before joining GHD as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer. At GHD, they gained experience in modelling and optimizing piping design, developing project proposals and cost estimates, and complying with industry standards. Nick eventually became a Mechanical Engineer at GHD, where they further enhanced their skills in mechanical design, project management, and report writing. Currently, Nick is employed at APA Group as a Lead Pipeline Engineer (secondment) and has previously worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. In this role, they manage the technical delivery of design projects, scopes project requirements, provides detailed technical engineering design input, and oversees pipeline and auxiliary equipment installations, among other responsibilities.

From 2010 to 2014, Nick Hallam attended The University of Queensland, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
