Simon Rudstead

Simon Rudstead is an experienced Project Engineer currently working at APA Group since September 2022. Prior to this, Simon held the position of Principal Policy Officer - Climate Change Mitigation on a contract basis at the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation for three months in 2022. Simon's extensive experience also includes roles at the NSW Department of Planning and Environment from January 2019 to June 2022, where responsibilities spanned from Senior Project Officer to Measurement & Verification Specialist on a contract basis. Additional roles include Lead Consultant at The Energy Project Pty Ltd and Energy Consultant and Analyst at Energetics. Earlier experience encompasses a Site Mechanical Project Engineer position at Civmec Construction & Engineering and a volunteer Directorship at Oaktree. Simon began a career at Monadelphous as a Project Engineer and Site Project Engineer, and had a brief stint as an Undergraduate Reliability Engineer with BHP. Educationally, Simon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Curtin University, along with certifications as a Certified Energy Manager and Certified Measurement and Verification Professional.
