Clares Jalocon

Clares Jalocon possesses extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as an Advisor for ASEAN Energy and Carbon Markets and the Philippine Energy Market at Apala Group from November 2023 to September 2025. Prior to this role, Clares worked as a Programme Management Senior Officer for Energy Markets at the Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnership from December 2023 to December 2024 and held the position of Senior Manager at ACEN Corporation from March 2023 to October 2023. A career break was taken in early 2023 for personal goal pursuits. Additionally, Clares spent over a decade at the Philippine Electricity Market Corporation, progressing from Corporate Operations and Market Development Assistant Manager to Head of Department. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from the University of the Philippines, earned between January 2001 and January 2006.
