Sol González is a decarbonisation and carbon markets specialist with over seven years of experience in sustainability and climate change projects. They have worked on corporate strategies, environmental policies, and local community collaborations. Currently, González serves as the Director of Carbon and Net Zero at Apala Group and as the Climate Change and Carbon Markets Manager at Fundación Oxígeno Azul. They have held various consulting roles at organizations like Hartree Partners and Pronatura México NGO, focusing on climate change mitigation and nature-based solutions. González completed their studies at the University of Warwick in 2023.
