Rabia Aziza

Data Scientist at Aparito

Rabia Aziza has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Rabia is currently employed as a Data Scientist at Aparito since March 2022. Prior to this, Rabia worked as a Research fellow at the Zeeman Institute: SBIDER in the University of Warwick - School of Life Sciences from October 2019 to March 2022. Their role involved mathematical modeling of infectious diseases with a focus on Sars-CoV-2, conducting online workshops, assisting in policy briefs, supervising other research fellows, and managing and processing raw data sets related to COVID infections.

Before their role at the University of Warwick, Rabia worked as an Assistant Professor at ESAT UNIVERSITY from September 2017 to August 2019. Rabia also served as a Vocational Instructor at Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Carthage ENICarthage from September 2016 to February 2017 and as an Assistant Professor at Institut Supérieur des Arts Multimédia de la Manouba (ISAMM) from October 2010 to March 2016.

Rabia has also gained research experience during their time as a PHD Student research visitor at Université de Lille, Droit et Santé. Rabia collaborated with Dr. Benjamin Guinhouya, Dr. Hayfa Zgaya, and Dr. on multiple occasions in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

Additionally, Rabia has worked as an Engineer-Researcher in Computer Science at OrangeLabs Sophia – R&D from September 2009 to September 2010. Rabia was also involved in projects at PlaNet Finance as a Project Leader from February 2008 to September 2009 and as an Analyst Programmer from July 2008 to December 2008. Their responsibilities included the analysis, design, and development of data warehouse applications, particularly in the field of microfinance.

Rabia Aziza started their education in 2003 at INSAT - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées et de Technologie, where they pursued a degree in Computer Software Engineering. Rabia completed their undergraduate studies in this field in 2009. In 2009-2010, they attended Polytech Nice Sophia, where they pursued a Research Masters in Computing, Foundations and Engineering in Computer Science, specializing in Knowledge Information Systems. Their education journey continued at the University of Tunis El Manar, where they enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Computer Science applied in Public Health from 2013 to 2017.
