Austin Thiel

Austin Thiel is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing web applications and features. Currently a Senior Software Engineer II at Apartment List since April 2019, Austin has contributed to the integration of an acquired engineering team in Israel and led the overhaul of the apartmentlist.com website using Typescript and Next. Prior experience includes roles at Drop, where Austin developed product features for an eCommerce site, and at Chapman University, where RESTful services were built for an Android app. Additional experience includes a software engineering internship at Mobcrush and undergraduate research focused on virtual reality for autism treatment. Austin holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Chapman University and participated in a study abroad program at Yonsei University.
