Damian Young

Damian Young currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Apata Group Limited since January 2023. Previously, Damian held the position of Partner at Orchard Gate Horticulture from April 2022 to May 2023. From August 2018 to May 2022, Damian was the European Regional Manager at Zespri International, responsible for the development and implementation of the kiwifruit sourcing strategy across multiple European countries. Damian also worked at Apata Group Limited from September 2008 to August 2018, first as the General Manager of Operations, overseeing operational performance for a company that employs 400 staff, and earlier as the Grower Services Manager, where successful industry-leading grower services were delivered. Damian's education includes credentials from Lincoln University in New Zealand.
