Dawn Kelly

Dawn Kelly is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry with extensive experience in leading technical teams and managing research and development projects within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Functional Lead - Chemistry at APC Ltd since October 2013, Dawn oversees a team to ensure the delivery of scientific excellence across various projects. Previous roles include Team Lead in Process Development R&D at APC, where Dawn guided interdisciplinary teams and managed day-to-day activities, and Research Scientist at APC, executing GLP-compliant pharmaceutical research. Dawn's prior experience also includes positions as a Process Development Chemist at MSD, where technical expertise supported cross-functional initiatives, and as a Post Doctoral Research Chemist at SSPC, focusing on the synthesis of complex organic molecules. Dawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a PhD in Organic Chemistry, both from University College Cork.
