Amy Cozart Burgess

Amy Cozart Burgess serves as Creative Director and Copywriter at APCO Worldwide since May 2021, following a robust career in advertising and creative roles. Since May 2015, Amy has also worked as a freelance Copywriter and Creative Director. Previous positions include Senior Copywriter at Capstrat from May 2011 to May 2015 and Copywriter roles at MARC USA, Eric Mower and Associates, and MRA Communications Group at various intervals from 2006 to 2009. Amy began a career in the industry as a Creative Coordinator Intern at GSD&M between 1999 and 2001, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin, earned in 2005.
