Garrett Ferguson has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Garrett started their career as a Communications/Administrative Intern at the Los Angeles Education Research Institute, where they coordinated social media, designed the institute's website, and organized research summits.

Garrett then served as a Communication and Legislative Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives, where they attended hearings, wrote speeches and press releases, and formed media relationships.

Garrett also worked as an Opinion Columnist for the Daily Bruin, where they wrote investigative articles on housing policy and LGBTQ+ studies program funding. Garrett concurrently held the position of DJ/On-air Host at UCLA Radio, hosting the show "God Complex" and exploring ancient myths through modern music and artistic expression.

Garrett's experience also includes working as an Editorial Associate at the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology Press, where they handled copy editing, social media coordination, graphic design, and website management. Garrett played a significant role in publishing research volumes and overseeing Los Angeles-based operations.

Furthermore, Garrett worked as a Director of Public Relations for the UCLA Campus Events Commission, where they supervised a team and implemented marketing strategies, including PR pop-up events and social media campaigns. Garrett also served as a Public Relations Coordinator for the organization.

Garrett's most recent work experience includes interning as a Corporate Communications and Marketing Intern at Warner Music Group. In this role, they pitched marketing campaigns, developed press releases, and monitored media outlets for the global corporate communications department.

Currently, Garrett is working as a Project Assistant at APCO Worldwide.

Garrett Ferguson obtained their High School Diploma from Yorktown High School from 2015 to 2019. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & Communications at UCLA from 2019 to 2023.
