Sofia Santos, MBA, currently serves as Director at APCO Worldwide, overseeing large client projects and teams while developing strategies to meet client objectives. Co-founder of Be Oura Holiday Homes, a venture focused on short-term rentals in Algarve, Portugal, Sofia also held the position of Associate Director at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, where responsibilities included leading marketing strategies. Previous roles include Country Manager for VisitBritain in the Middle East & Turkey, Founder of BeSamba, and Marketing Director at Starwood Hotels & Resorts. With a strong entrepreneurial background, Sofia has also co-founded Organic Food Trading and has experience in marketing roles at Al Dar Health, Seawings LLC, and Air Nimbus. Currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration, Sofia holds a Master of Applied Business Research and an MBA, with a foundation in Tourism Management.
