Sean Hammond is currently the Immunotoxicology Lead at ApconiX, where they provide strategic solutions in nonclinical toxicology and specialize in investigating the immunological challenges of novel therapeutics. Previously, Sean completed a PhD at the University of Liverpool focused on drug hypersensitivity reactions and served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate investigating immune responses to vaccines. They also hold an honorary senior lecturer position at the University of Liverpool, leading research on immune-related adverse events and teaching pharmacology and toxicology courses. Sean’s early experience includes working as a QA technician at AstraZeneca, contributing to the microbiological quality assurance in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
