Caroline Baeumler-Klestil

Caroline Baeumler-Klestil is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in medical affairs and drug safety, currently serving as a Medical Affairs and Drug Safety Officer at APEIRON Biologics since January 2014, where supervision of medical aspects and support of pharmacovigilance for a monoclonal antibody in neuroblastoma therapy is provided. Previous roles include serving as a ward physician in the oncology department at Kaiser Franz Josef Hospital from January 2004 to July 2006, focusing on the internistic care and therapy of patients with solid tumors and hematologic cancers, and as a Research Fellow at the Hospital for Special Surgery in collaboration with Weill Cornell Medical College from October 1998 to July 2001, conducting basic research in apoptosis related to autoimmune conditions.
