Josef Penninger

Founder of Apeiron. Studied Medicine & Arts at the University Innsbruck, since 1990 worked as post-doctoral fellow at the Ontario Cancer Institute. Author of > 400 publications and patents; ranked twice among top 10 most cited scientists globally. Worked for 13 years with Amgen, the Ontario Cancer Institute and University of Toronto. Former Scientific Director of the IMBA in Vienna (2002 until 2018), now Scientific Director and Professor of the Life Science Institute of the University of British Columbia.
