Mag Rainer C. Burian

Rainer C. Burian was managing director of an Austrian based life science investment holding and afterwards founded PAA Laboratories in 1988. He developed the company from a small local lab to a leading global supplier of cell culture products to the biopharmaceutical industry with subsidiaries on four continents. Several company prizes were awarded to PAA under his leadership. In 2011, he sold the company to a multinational pharma corporation and became a successful investor and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Rainer holds a Master in Business Administration (Mag.) from Vienna University of Economics and Business.
