Chauncey C. is a Senior Pharmacovigilance Scientist at Apellis Pharmaceuticals since December 2021, leading product safety surveillance activities across all product life-cycle phases and providing pharmacovigilance support for developmental products. Prior to this role, Chauncey served as Principal Pharmacovigilance/Safety Lead at Sarah Cannon Research Institute from October 2016 to December 2021, where responsibilities included leading the development of pharmacovigilance activities and safety surveillance reviews. Earlier experience includes the position of Pharmacovigilance Scientist I at Tata Consultancy Services, with a focus on workflow management and safety evaluation for oncology and immunology trials. Chauncey’s career began as a Specimen Processor at St. Elizabeth Healthcare and as a laboratory research assistant at Bowling Green State University, where bioinformatics and epigenetic research on Phytophthora sojae were conducted. Chauncey holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bowling Green State University and has completed a graduate program in Clinical Research at the University of Cincinnati.
