Dean Caravoulias

Dean Caravoulias is a seasoned supply chain professional with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Commercial Supply Chain at Apellis Pharmaceuticals since April 2020, Dean has successfully established a Supply Planning and Operations team focused on commercial launches. Prior roles include Director of Operations Planning & Strategy at Takeda, where Dean developed capacity and cost models for strategic decision-making, and Director of Global Supply Planning and S&OP at Biogen, overseeing supply processes for significant revenue-generating products. Previous roles at Merck spanned various positions in supply chain management and engineering, leading efforts in vaccine brands and clinical manufacturing.
