Katie Gordon

Katie Gordon possesses extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Director of Medical Affairs, Global Medical Strategy and Evidence Generation at Apellis Pharmaceuticals since April 2022, after holding the position of Associate Director in the same department. Prior roles include Associate Director of Medical Affairs at G1 Therapeutics, Inc. and various positions at United Therapeutics Corporation, where responsibilities spanned from Senior Scientist to Postdoctoral Fellow in Global Medical Strategy and Global Medical Affairs. Earlier career experiences include a Clinical Research/Medical Affairs Postdoctoral Fellowship at UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, as well as roles as a Pharmacy Intern, Research Technician II, Medical Laboratory Technician, and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Katie Gordon holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, a Master of Science in Medical Pharmacology and Physiology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Westminster College (MO).
