Adon McFarlane is a Senior Freshwater Ecologist at APEM Ireland, currently applying expertise gained through a PhD in Freshwater Biology. They graduated with second class honours from a B.Sc in Applied Freshwater and Marine Biology in 2015 and later obtained a PhD through a scholarship at Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology. Adon has extensive experience in field and laboratory data collection, statistical analysis, and GIS mapping. Their past roles include teaching assistant and research assistant positions, as well as environmental technician and scientist roles at CLS and CLS MedPharma. Adon possesses a strong work ethic, technical skills in freshwater and marine instrumentation, and a full clean Irish driver's license.
