David Hall is a seasoned marine biologist with over 30 years of experience, currently serving as the Divisional Director of BioLabs at APEM Ltd. and managing the Letchworth office. David coordinated the benthic invertebrate, fish, and particle size components of the North East Atlantic Marine Biological Analytical Quality Control (NMBAQC) scheme from its inception in 1994 until 2012. Since 2014, David has been the coordinator for APEM's benthic invertebrate and particle size components, focusing on expanding laboratory and marine capabilities, while leading a team of over 50 marine and freshwater taxonomists. David holds a B.Sc. Joint Honours in Environmental Biology and Geography from the University of Hull.
