Ana Escobedo

Ana Escobedo has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Ana is currently working as the Head of Strategy at Aperam since April 2021. Prior to this, Ana worked at Grupo Peña Verde SAB as a Board Member from 2013 to April 2021. Before that, they held various roles at ArcelorMittal, including Director of International Government Relations, Foundation and Corporate Responsibility Controller, and Carbon Finance. Ana also worked at Ecosecurities as an Origination and Investment Manager and at Sanpaolo IMI as a Project Finance in Energy professional. Ana started their career at General de Seguros, where they worked in product structuring services. Additionally, Ana has experience as an entrepreneur, having founded and served as the Owner and CEO of Comercializadora de Origen Natural. In this role, they worked with Indigenous communities in the South of Mexico to produce organic products, with a focus on organic coffee.
