Grégory Homareau

Grégory Homareau has extensive work experience in supply chain management and executive roles in various companies. Grégory started their career at Ugine Asia Pacific, where they worked as a Junior Project Manager in Bangkok, Thailand. In this role, they participated in the creation of a stainless steel service center in China, sold a portion of a stainless steel cold rolling mill to a US pension fund, and conducted a market study in Vietnam.

Homareau then joined Ugine SA as a Project Manager in Paris, France. Here, they successfully established a transformation and distribution site for stainless steel coils and sheets in Poland. Grégory also supported the layout transformation of a similar site in Italy.

Following that, Homareau worked at UGINE & ALZ Italia srl (ARCELOR) as a Logistics Manager in Milan, Italy. In this position, they managed a team responsible for all the logistical aspects of the site. Grégory achieved results by improving delivery time and reducing stock.

From there, Homareau moved to ArcelorMittal, where they held various roles. Grégory started as an Investments Manager in Paris, where they managed investment projects. Grégory then took a sabbatical leave in South America before returning to ArcelorMittal as the Business Development for the Stainless Steel division. Grégory supported the Vice President in defining the division's strategy and growth projects. Later, they became the CEO of ArcelorMittal's Stainless Steel business for Central Europe, Eastern Europe, and Russia. In this role, they managed a profit center and was responsible for developing the sales and distribution network.

Currently, Homareau serves as the Head of Supply Chain Management Europe at Aperam, a leading stainless steel welded tubes manufacturer for exhaust systems. Grégory previously held the positions of Head of Supply Chain Excellence and CEO Automotive Tubes Europe at Aperam.

Grégory Homareau obtained a Master's degree in Entrepreneurs and an MBA from HEC Paris in 1997-1998. Prior to that, they pursued a Civil Works Engineering MSc from Ecole spéciale des Travaux publics, du Bâtiment et de l'Industrie from 1994 to 1997. Grégory completed their secondary education at Lycée Pothier from 1988 to 1994. In addition, they obtained a Bronze Phish Level certification in the Basics of Cyber Resilience from Phished in May 2023.
