Jimmy de Wilde

Jimmy De Wilde is an experienced plant manager and engineer with a comprehensive background in the metal production industry. Currently serving as the Plant Manager for the Aperam Genk site since September 2008, Jimmy De Wilde oversees operations to ensure a healthy, safe, and sustainable environment while driving profitability. Prior roles include managing the Cold Rolling Plant and directing both Production Services and Customer Service, where responsibilities encompassed production processes, maintenance, quality improvement, logistics, and customer relations. Jimmy De Wilde's earlier career includes positions as Production Manager at Aleris Aluminium and a researcher at K.U. Leuven, where a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Engineering was obtained, complemented by a Master of Engineering in Materials Science.
