Kristen Aronsson has over 20 years of experience in the design industry. Kristen began their career in 2000 as a Senior Designer at Rogers Marvel Architects, where they designed and developed retail fixtures for Kate Spade signature stores worldwide. In 2003, they joined Lippincott as a Senior Designer on the Retail Team, and B. Robinson Optical/Legacie Accessories as the Design Director for KATA. At Allure Eyewear, they were the Design and Research Director for the Oscar De La Renta couture eyewear collection. In 2009, they joined Modo as the Creative Director, where they were responsible for the design strategy, presentations and product development for the company's brand portfolio. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Creative Consultant for various clients. In 2015, they joined Eponym as the SVP/Creative Director, where their role included leading and defining the design strategy for the company's brand portfolio, managing and growing the product design and production teams, and creating concepts and designs for all brands including licenses and house brands. Kristen has also held Adjunct Instructor roles at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Parson - The New School for Design. In 2018, they founded Aperçu Eyewear, where they currently serve as the Founder/Creative Director.
Kristen Aronsson attended Cornell University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a B.A. in Art History with a minor in Fine Art. In 1994, they studied abroad at Universite de Paris I, La Sorbonne. Kristen then attended Pratt Institute from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a M.I.D. in Industrial and Product Design.
