Andrew Spencer

Senior Mechanical Engineer at Aperia Technologies

Andrew Spencer has worked in the engineering industry since 2006. Andrew began their career as a Technical Assistance Intern at ProAnalysis, Inc. in 2004. In 2006, they moved to New United Motor Manufacturing Inc. (NUMMI) as a Production Control Packaging Co-op, where they communicated with suppliers, vendors, and internal user groups to implement changes in packaging to save an estimated $800k over the next four years. In 2007, Andrew joined the LagrangianSensor Systems Laboratory, UC Berkeley as a Junior Development Engineer, responsible for research and development activities to design floating sensors (drifters). In 2008, they became an Applications Engineer at DiCon Fiberoptics, where they supported the sales and marketing team with engineering analysis reports and product operation manuals. In 2009, Andrew began working at Fusion Specialists as a Chief Engineer, assisting customers with the project design process and fabricating products with low carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Finally, in 2012, they joined Aperia Technologies as an Engineer.

Andrew Spencer received a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2008.
