Keiko Sakurai

Keiko Sakurai has expertise in team building, organizational development, executive coaching, management-skills training, and leadership development for multinational companies. She passionately supports individuals and teams to recognize their strengths and expand their abilities to the fullest extent possible. Industries in which Ms. Sakurai has worked include automobile and pharmaceutical manufacturing as well as high technology.

Before joining Aperian Global, Ms. Sakurai served as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) for PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she led audit teams in assessing the financials and internal controls of global clients such as Toshiba, Toyota, and the Royal Insurance Group. She was also a lecturer on corporate governance, internal audit, and risk management.

Born in Tokyo, Japan, Ms. Sakurai lived in Thailand and Germany during her childhood. Currently she is based in both Japan and the United States and is bilingual in Japanese and English.

She holds a Haas School of Business MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, with a certificate in global management, as well as a BS in management from Hitotsubashi University in Japan. Ms. Sakurai has also completed coaching and leadership courses at the Coaches Training Institute in California. She maintains her CPA credentials, is Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) certified, and is a practitioner of NLP.
