Muriel Libert

Muriel Libert is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international trade and education. Since July 2001, Muriel has served as the Assistant Trade Commissioner at the Wallonia (Belgium) Trade and Investment Office. Muriel has also been a Country Specialist for Belgium at Aperian Global since 2000, specializing in Cross Cultural Trainings. Additionally, Muriel has worked as a private tutor of French since 1992 and previously held roles as a substitute teacher of French at The Avery Coonley School (1996-2001) and as secretary to the Consul General at the Consulate General of Belgium in Chicago (1988-1992). Earlier in the career, Muriel was a translator for Colruyt from 1983 to 1987. Muriel holds a Master's degree in Translation and Linguistics from UMONS, obtained between 1978 and 1982.
