Jason Smalls

Jason Smalls began their career in 2003 as a Systems Integrator at SAIC, where they served as an Integrated Task Team Lead and managed a team of four employees while monitoring and evaluating risks related to any schedule impacts involving project milestones. In 2007, they joined Lockheed Martin as a System Integration Analyst Staff, where they managed project tasks to execute the governance processes for both legacy and newly approved applications. Jason then moved to Vencore Inc. in 2011, where they served as a System Integration Analyst Staff, strategically managing and facilitating the coordination of project activities to ensure collaboration across multiple divisions that involve tracking and reporting to Customer Branch Chief/Project Lead. In 2014, they joined Engility Corporation Formerly TASC as a System Engineer, where they were responsible for developing long-term strategic objectives to ensure user requirements will be satisfied in future years. In 2016, they joined Perspecta as a Systems Engineer Technical Specialist. Finally, in 2020, they joined Aperio Global, LLC as a Project Manager and CACI International Inc as an IT Project Engineer, where they provided team support for full spectrum IT-focused, enterprise-wide capability lifecycle to include dev ops, applied technology investigations, operations/maintenance.

Jason Smalls has a Master of Science (M.S.) in Engineering/Industrial Management from The George Washington University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2003. Jason also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tuskegee University, which they obtained from 1990 to 1996. Additionally, they have obtained four certifications: IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from AXELOS Global Best Practice in February 2019, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2020, Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute in March 2018, and Scaled Agilist (SA) from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2016.
